Receptive Energy Research:
Receptive Energy Research is a term coined by NH UneXplained. It is our belief that there is energy released when we die that can retain some physical properties by means of violent death, emotional connection to a location, object, or something left behind unfinished. We as humans are receptive to this energy by means of our senses. Aside from our 5 senses often senses we do not fully understand -or even know that we possess – are also affected by this energy.
We are all receptive to the energy around us. Man made, naturally occurring, even energy that is from time past. Have you ever felt like you are being watched when you are home alone? Have you ever felt the hair on your arms raise for no reason? In most cases this is caused by a man-made or natural source, however the fact remains that your body has (in one way or another) been affected by the energy around you. This is the core of Receptive Energy Research. We need to pay attention to the energy around us beyond that which can be found with our equipment. There is always the possibility -however slight – that it may be the energy from a time long gone.
The field of Receptive Energy Research is very broad. There are several types of activity that can cause one to feel energy other than man, or naturally made.The most commonly accepted types are:
•Residual
•Intelligent
•Inhuman
The list above can also be used as a danger indicator. Residual being “no chance of danger” and Inhuman being the “most severe”. Below we will attempt to define each classification of hauntings.
Classifications and their Definitions :
Residual Energy:
This type of energy does not show thought or intelligence nor does it respond/react to its surroundings. This type of energy is on repeat much like flipping through and old album of photos. The photos never change. They are always going to be the same moments caught in time. These “moments” can be in the form of audio, or movement, or a even a full body apparition. However they manifest themselves, they will never react to their surroundings or people around them. They are simply energy caught in time, just like a pile of old photographs. As such, residual energy is the least harmful. On a danger scale of 1-10 these would be a zero.
Intelligent Energy:
This is a very broad and complex category. It is exactly what the name implies. Energy that seems to have thought and will sometimes respond to its surroundings and poplin those surroundings. There are even subcategories within this classification. This category is so vast an entire book could be written about it. I’m sure there are books available if you search google for them. But there are so many resources online that you probably don’t need one. Unless it is written by a very trusted high profile paranormal researcher. Like the Warrens for example. Ed and Loraine Warren were some of the most trusted paranormal researchers that were in the public eye for a long time. Any book written by them would be trust worthy.
